Backlink analysis: use link data to ask better questions
A backlink tool is most useful when it helps you understand real link relationships, not when it produces the biggest number.

What backlink analysis can answer
- Which pages or domains link to a site?
- Which referring domains appear repeatedly?
- What link patterns distinguish competitors?
- Which existing links look worth investigating further?
Do not reduce links to one score
Third-party link metrics can help prioritize analysis, but they are not Google scores. Relevance, placement, editorial context and actual site quality still matter.
Tool fit
LinkMiner currently supports backlink discovery, its Link Strength metric, live backlink previews, saved favorites and additional analysis options. Larger suites may be justified when backlink research is a major operational discipline.
